Wedding at Relais San Maurizio (CN)
Sam e Michelle
Three days of celebration. That is what Sam and Michelle, a Dutch couple traveling to Italy to celebrate their wedding, wanted. Sam Feldt is an electronic music artist and DJ who works all over the world, and among the many countries he has visited and enjoyed in his career, he chose the Langhe in Piedmont to host the party for such an important event.
This wedding took place as mentioned over 3 days: a welcome dinner with lots of music, a wedding with lots of music, and a splendid pool party with, guess what! Yes that's right, with lots of music! Music stations to accompany protagonists (often at the console) and guests with Sam's tunes, but not only.
The location that hosted the event was the Relais San Maurizio, a completely renovated 17th-century (1619) ancient monastery that stands in a magnificent panoramic position in Santo Stefano Belbo (CN). The relais offers 5-star rooms and suites to ensure comfort for an international clientele, and the flavors of the cuisine are created by executive chef Fabio Sgro for Guido da Costigliole, a renowned Michelin-starred restaurant.
All planning was entrusted to Serena Obert and Stefania Poletti, highly experienced wedding planners who also followed step-by-step coordination throughout the days of the celebration, ensuring that the bride and groom and guests had a unique experience while staying in the hills of this spectacular area of Italy.
The photographs portray the guests in a very spontaneous way, and the story starts from the reception on day 1 with the welcome dinner, with a pass-through dinner and open bar organized on a breathtaking panoramic terrace. The central day, the one reserved for the wedding, saw Sam and Michelle's preparations in their respective suites, with a civil ceremony inside the property's park and dinner on the Monterosa terrace, with a beautiful setting embellished by the floral arrangements by Simona Carosso(Vogliotti - à fleur de fleurs) and accessories by Centro Noleggio. The musical interludes of the reception were by Boys4Road, while those related to the ceremony with strings by Gli Archimisti. The video to commemorate such an important event was filmed by Marco Abba Videography.
